Debbie Heldt Administrator

Debbie holds her Bachelors Degree in Long Term Care Administration from Upper Iowa University and has an Associates Degree from DMACC (Des Moines Area Community College).

Debbie worked at her first nursing home right here at Maple Crest Manor from 1979-1986.  She left Fayette and worked in Iowa, Kentucky, Wisconsin and Nebraska before returning back to Fayette in 2001... a place she'll always call home.

A licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 1983, Debbie has been the Administrator at Maple Crest Manor since 2001.

Her family includes 4 children, 2 daughter-in-laws and 4 grandchildren.  Family and friends take up much of her time, but she also enjoys reading, working on home projects and gardening.

Nancy received her Associate Degree in Nursing from NICC (Northeast Iowa Community College) in Calmar. She previously worked for Mercy Hospital in Oelwein for 4 years and became certified in Medical Surgical Nursing. She also received the Iowa Wheaton Outstanding Nurse in 2011. Nancy has been with Maple Crest Manor since 2005, working PRN and later becoming the MDS Nurse before accepting the Director Of Nursing Position.
Nancy is married and has 2 sons. In her free time she enjoys quilting, embroidery and camping with her family and friends.

Dawn Beard LPN/RAC-CT Assistant Director of Nursing & Assisted Living Manager

Dawn earned her LPN degree from Hawkeye Community College and her RAC-CT in 2005 from AANAC (American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators).

With Maple Crest Manor since 1986, she worked previously as a CNA during college at a Nursing Home in Waterloo, IA.

Dawn enjoys Disaster Relief Mission work, painting, scrap booking, being around animals and she also enjoys time with family and friends.

Kristi holds her bachelors degree in Human Services from Upper Iowa University and has an associates degree from Waldorf College in Forest City, IA.

Kristi has worked in Long Term Care & Assisted Living programs for over 9 years before coming to Maple Crest Manor in 2010.  Kristi truly enjoys working with the residents & families in Long Term Care.

Kristi is married to Keith and their family includes twin daughters Keegan & Kailey, age 10.

Kristi enjoys spending time with her family & friends.  Hobbies include landscaping, scrap booking, being a spectator at her daughters' events and shopping!

Shirley Ungerer
Dietary Manager

Shirley started working at Maple Crest Manor her senior year in high school and has been here ever since. She also works as a CNA at Oelwein Health Care Center.

She is very active with Girl Scouts K-12 and is a member of Fayette Ambulance Service. Shirley enjoys trips with her family and the Girl Scouts.

Janice has been with Maple Crest Manor since 1981, starting her career here as a CNA. From there she moved into the Restorative Aide position and from there received her Medical Aide degree. She became the Activities Director at Maple Crest Manor in 1998.

Janice is married and has 4 children and 10 grandchildren. She loves her job and all the people. Her hobbies include sewing, crafts, going for long walks, playing with her grandchildren and just enjoying life!

Joyce Gregg
Environmental Supervisor

Since 1984, Joyce has been a familiar face around Maple Crest Manor. She started out in the Dietary Department and is currently the Environmental Supervisor. She has worked in long term care most of her life.

Joyce is married to her husband Dave and her family includes her daughter Crystal, her son-in-law Eric and a granddaughter Lara.

Hobbies for Joyce include gardening, mowing, landscape, sewing, quilting, quilling and scrap booking.

Ann received her Administrative Assistant degree from NICC, Calmar. She took her position as Office Manager here at Maple Crest Manor in 2006.

Ann's family includes her husband, 2 children and 1 son-in-law. She enjoys camping, traveling and hanging out with family and friends. You can also find Ann enjoying dirt track racing and Nascar.
