Caring Leaves

Caring Leaves is a program geared to helping not only our tenants and residents, but also allowing the community to gain experience and become more familiar and comfortable with the elderly community. We encourage volunteers of all ages, if younger than 15 please bring an adult with you, to join our volunteer team.

Our residents and tenants love to see new faces, have new experiences, and create new memories. Maple Crest Campus currently has an outstanding activity department that does their best to offer unique and interactive games and activities to each and every resident on a regular basis, but without volunteers they could not do what they do. We host several large group activities such as BINGO, sing-a-long, and coffee break each week that we can always use extra hands with. Smaller activities are also held each day such as nail care, going for a walk, and games. These activities are where volunteers are even more vital because we have limited staff for such activities.

Researchers say, doing good for others has mental and physical health benefits.  Volunteering has also been shown to have a positive effect on people's mental state, particularly as they age. We encourage you to fill out a volunteer registration form below and let us know what you are interested in. We would love to see you and your family or friends as often as you can. If you would like to donate your time and talents please see Abbie Thomas, Activity Coordinator, call at 563.425.3336 or write to:
